Designed to meet the basic training needs of staff on coming across unresponsive casualty emergency situations. This half day course covers arriving at the scene, casualty assessment, top to toe survey, recovery position, resuscitation and hygiene and infection control.
Suitable for all Emergency First Aiders or “competent people” required to deal with emergency situations. This one day programme provides a general introduction to first aid issues and treatment of the most common minor injuries such as choking, angina bleeding control and resuscitation, needed to ensure first aid safety practice in your establishment.
This programme will provide you with highly competent and trained personnel capable of dealing with a variety of illness and injuries. Enabling delegates to deal with an emergency situation with confidence in a prompt, safe and effective manner, this programme provides the highest level of skills training to meet statutory requirements under the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations.
